COVID-19 pandemic have possessed a challenge for undergraduate medical students. Shifting to eLearning have added to the existing stressors present due to pandemic. This have affected the psychological well-being of the students. We aimed to analyze the effects of COVID-19 pandemic on undergraduate medical students learning in Rehman Medical Institute.

An online cross-sectional study was carried out with 142 participants including medical and dental students. A well-known Cohens Perceived Stress questionnaire (14 items) was used to collect the data.
Results
The total number of respondents in our study were 142. Most respondents were females (57%), while (43%) were employed males. Most of the participants in the study were between age 18-20 i.e., 69%.
Conclusion
We found that the COVID-19 pandemic has induced stress in medical students. The results exhibited that the predominance of stress is higher in females than males, and also more stress was perceived by the students during their transitional year, ie, 3rd medical year (from pre-clinical to clinical). COVID-19’s influence on medical education and students’ well-being will be felt at an extended level, which necessitates an appropriate plan for preparedness.
